U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has been advising the trade that the Document Imaging System (DIS) will no longer be used to submit Form 1302A Cargo Declaration - Export Manifest.
Effective October 1st, 2023, CBP will only accept Export Manifest either electronically via the ACE (Automated Commercial Environment), or paper submission.
With CBP currently conducting Electronic Export Manifest (EEM) pilot testing, we urge anyone preparing export documentation to consider participating ahead of the October deadline. It helps to educate and initiate the transition early.
