CBSA Opens Bonding for Non-Canadian Freight Forwarders

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced that Canada will now allow non-Canadian freight forwarders to apply for a bonded carrier code, thereby opening intermodal, inbond and consolidated shipments to be filed as house bills by companies not domiciled in Canada.  Bonds must be issued in the amount of $25,000.00.
